Google Maps will soon start showing you more options for getting around town.
Now when users search for directions on their mobile device, they'll be shown a tab with info on ride services, according to the Google Maps official blog.
This feature is in addition to those car, transit, walk and bike options already visibly available.
By clicking on the new tab--if you're in the U.S.--you'll see how long it would take to get to where you're going using Uber. In select countries, there will also be listed info for taxi companies.
Through Google Maps, users can see fare estimates and pick-up times, too, as long as they have that ride service app installed.
You can also tap on the preferred service to book a ride.
This feature is expected to roll out to Android devices in the coming days. It's also expected soon on iOS.
