Gov. Whitmer gets her own bobblehead along with other governors, Drs. Birx and Fauci

(WXYZ) — Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is getting her own bobblehead from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The museum announced Friday the bobblehead, which is on sale now for $25. Also, $5 from every bobblehead will go to the Protect the Heroes fund in support of the 100 million mask challgenge. They will shipping in July. You can buy one here.

The fund has already raised over $185,000 through the sale of Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and other governors' bobbleheads. Other governors include NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers.

"During these unprecedented times, we want to continue to raise funds for an amazing cause while putting a smile on people’s faces with bobbleheads,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We received a lot of requests to make a bobblehead of Governor Whitmer and other governors who have been instrumental in the continued fight against COVID-19, so we’re excited to be releasing her bobblehead today.”
