Grandma found after never showing to pick up grandson from school in Detroit

UPDATE: Cynthia Reed has been located and is safe, according to Detroit Police. 


Detroit Police need help finding a missing grandmother last seen on Oct. 12.

Officers say on Friday around 3 p.m., 64-year-old Cynthia Reed left to pick up her grandson from school but never made it there. She was last seen in the 14000 block of Strathmoor.

Reed's sister told police is very worried because Cynthia "never misses a day without speaking to her over the phone."

Cynthia is described as a Black woman, 5-feet 7-inches with a thin build and brown shoulder length hair. No clothing description was provided. Cynthia is in good mental and physical condition, according to police.
