DETROIT (WXYZ) — “I’m kind, I’m sweet, and I got style,” said Sydney confidently. The sometimes shy-but-spunky 8-year-old is currently in foster care in Michigan and hoping to find a family match soon.

She’s a big fan of board games.

“I like Monopoly, Candyland, and Jumanji,” she explained.

“Sometimes I like to play with my dolls – my Baby Alives. And sometimes I like to lay down and watch TV,” said Sydney.

She also enjoys yoga, ballet, and gymnastics.

“I like to do cartwheels, back bends, maybe the splits, too. I like yoga, too.

When it comes to school, reading, social studies, and math are her favorites.

“When I grow up, I want to be either a police officer, a dancer, or a singer. I want to be all three of them,” she grinned. “You could save people and help people!”

Going shopping, to the zoo, or to an ice cream parlor are fun outings for Sydney.

“My favorite ice cream is Vanilla Moosetracks and sometimes sherbet and chocolate,” she said.

What she wants more than anything is to be adopted.

“I want siblings. I don’t want to be an only child because I really have nobody to play with or do anything with,” Sydney explained.

“I would like a Mom that would do fun stuff and help me learn some stuff. I would like to play and read books with [my adoptive parents], maybe, like, go outside, do family night, do a movie night, board games, watch TV shows,” she said.
