(WXYZ) — Just in time for Thanksgiving, there's a new Guinness World Record for the largest green bean casserole.
A team of chefs from Green Giant more than 1,000 cans of green beans, 485 cans of mushroom soup, 65 quarts of milk and 95 pounds of French's fried onions.
It took over eight hours to complete and weighed over 1,000 pounds.
It won't go to waste either, as it will be distributed to more than 3,000 people in New York through the Meals on Wheels program.
