GROSSE ILE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Grosse Ile Township teacher has been charged with indecent exposure after an incident near a park earlier this summer.
Christopher Metzger, 37, from Trenton, is charged with one count of aggravated indecent exposure and one count of obscene conduct.
It is alleged that on Aug. 28, Metzger was in his car at Commerce Park in Grosse Ile while kids were practicing sports nearby. A parent walked past his car and said he saw Metzger engaged in lewd behavior. It was reported to police and Metzger was arrested.
He has also been placed on administrative leave.
Metzger was arraigned and given a $15,000 bond with conditions he must not enter Commerce Park and must not attend any Grosse Ile Youth Recreation Association events.
