HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Hamtramck Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Thursday night on Danforth Street.
Police released security camera footage of a vehicle that is believed to be grey that opened fire in a neighborhood. At this time they don’t have details of suspects, noting in a public post on Facebook that “multiple occupants” inside the vehicle were involved.
The video, posted on the city’s Facebook page, was released three days after the incident, drawing negative reaction from locals — 7 Action News is reaching out to get information about the delay in publicizing the incident.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting, or could potentially have video, to contact Hamtramck Police at 313-800-5281.
