Feeding America is a network of food banks helping to feed communities nationwide.
This month, the nonprofit has launched Spoontember. The goal is to make the spoon the central icon for Hunger Action Month.
Feeding America writes Spoontember is a social media movement to bring awareness for the 1 in 6 Americans struggling with hunger.
All you have to do is hang a spoon on your nose, snap a spoon selfie, share it on social with the hashtag #Spoontember, and encourage others to do the same.
