DETROIT (WXYZ) — Henry Ford Health System is offering a series of free "pop-up" clinics in Detroit to help provide free flu shots to the community.
The clinics will provide shots to Detroit residents aged 9 and over. You will be required to wear a face mask and have your temperature taken before getting a vaccine. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or more will be encouraged to see their doctor.
The flu shots will be given at Henry Ford's blue mobile medical unit at the following locations:
- Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.Village Center Apartments, 901 Pallister Street, Detroit.
- Friday, Oct. 30 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.Greater Grace Temple Church, 23500 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit.
- Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.Bethel Temple Church, 5024 28th Street, Detroit.
- Friday, Nov. 6, from noon – 4 p.m.King David Baptist Church, 18001 Sunset Street, Detroit.
- Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. – noon.Liberty Temple Baptist Church, 17188 Greenfield, Detroit.
- Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Only one person will be allowed inside at a time.
