DETROIT (WXYZ) — Hungry Howie's has partnered with Henry Ford to provide uninsured women with free mammograms.
On Thursday, Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the community is invited for a complimentary lunch and refreshments as well as a tour of Henry Ford's new mobile mammography unit. Since the unit is not operational yet, attendees can be pre-screened and pre-registered during the event for their free mammogram once the unit is up and running in November.
The event will be located at Hungry Howie’s Headquarters on 30300 Stephenson Highway in Madison Heights.
In addition, those who are unable to attend but qualify should contact Henry Ford at 877-6-SCREEN to be pre-screened and schedule their mammogram. They should make note that they are taking part in Hungry Howie’s Love, Hope & Pizza initiative.
