(WXYZ( — If you haven't booked a trip somewhere tropical and warm for spring break, we've got family friendly activities for you right around metro Detroit.

Whether you have teenagers or little ones, there is plenty to do around metro Detroit. You could bring your kids to the Berkley Parks and Recreation Center, where they offer activities every day of spring break.

“Kids come here in the morning and then they typically go and do a field trip," said Director Theresa Mcarleton. "We’ve got a couple field trips planned. They’re going to go to the Michigan Science Center one day.”

Spring Break activities in Berkley start Tuesday for kids K-8. They're around $40 a day.

Additionally, Lego Land and Sea Life offer discounted admissions during spring break, courtesy of the Oakland County Moms group.

The Robot Garage in Birminghim also offers spring break programs during the day, and child-care into the evening, which is important for Beverly Hills mom Melissa Holland.

"My kids that are in public school, they're on spring break," Holland said. "My husband and I are typically working."

The Cranbrook Art Museum is open during spring break and kids 12 and under are free.

If none of these are the right fit, there's always the Detroit Zoo. Or, check out your local community center. Warren's is known for its pool. Members and non-members are welcome with an ID.
