(WXYZ) — Memorial Day is Monday and metro Detroit has dozens of parades and ceremonies across the area to celebrates those who lost their lives fighting for our freedom.

Saturday, May 25
- Livonia – Memorial Day Ceremony t 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Plaza at Farmington and Five Mile

Sunday, May 26
- St. Clair Shores – Memorial Day Parade at 1 p.m. on Jefferson from 9 Mile to 11 Mile

- Troy Memorial Day Concert and celebration on Sunday and Monday – 3 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday at White Chapel Cemetery

- Holly - Great Lakes National Cemetery ceremony at 1 p.m.

Monday, May 27
- Rochester/Rochester Hills – Mt. Avon Cemetery at 8 a.m., Veterans Memorial Pointe at 9 a.m. and Van Hoosen Middle School at 11 a.m.

- Royal Oak – Memorial Day Parade on Main St. at Lincoln beginning at 9 a.m.

- South Lyon – Memorial Day Parade at 9 a.m. from Bartlett Elementary and down 10 Mile through downtown

- Birmingham – Memorial Day Service at Shain Park at 10 a.m.

- Clawson – Memorial Day Ceremony at the Blair Public Library Gazebo at 10 a.m.

- Farmington/Farmington Hills – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Grand River and Orchard Lake, continuing west on Grand River

- Ferndale – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. starting at Woodward and Maplehurst, south to Nine Mile Rd., west to Livernois and to Veteran’s Memorial.

- Hazel Park – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. at the corner of John R. and 8 Mile

- Holly – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. with start in downtown Holly to Lakeside Cemetery

- Northville – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. from Main and Griswold

- Novi – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. along 10 Mile

- Troy – Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at Veterans Plaza in front of city hall

- Auburn Hills – Memorial Day parade at 11 a.m. at Avondale High School to Webster’s Cemetery

- Franklin – Memorial Day Ceremony at Franklin Cemetery at 11 a.m.

- Waterford – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. starting at Burke Lumber at Dixie Highway and Sashabaw

- Berkley – Memorial Day Ceremony at City Hall Gazebo at 11 a.m. and at American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 9222

- Beverly Hills – Memorial Day Parade at 11 a.m. starting at Groves High School and going north on Evergreen

- Lake Orion – Memorial Day Parade at Broadway at 11 a.m. and the Ceremony at 1 p.m. at Orion Veteran’s Memorial

- Milford – Memorial Day Parade at 11 a.m. on Main St. in downtown Milford

- Walled Lake – Memorial Day Parade at 11 a.m. at Walled Lake Dr., running along Pontiac Trail to City Hall

- Sylvan Lake – Memorial Day Parade at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall going to Memorial Park

- Canton – Canton Fire Department Memorial Day Service at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Center in Heritage Park

- Dearborn – Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. along Michigan Ave. from Maple St. to Henry Ford Centennial Library

- Inkster – Memorial Day Parade from 12 p.m. on Michigan Ave. from Hamlin Dr. to Bayhan St.

- Allen Park – Memorial Day Ceremony at 12 p.m. at Veterans Memorial at the old Veterans Hospital site.
