What This Means for metro Detroit

Simply put, it means the winds are not done just yet. Wind gusts will continue to average 50 - 60 mph into the evening hours. We've already received several reports of gusts near 53 mph and one near 60mph. The High Wind Warning will expire at 4 a.m. but the winds should begin to calm some around 2:30 a.m. Listed below are a few snapshots of our Futurecast Wind Gusts over the next 12 hours.

Winds are expected to calm during the day on Monday starting around 2:30 a.m.
