Hit musical 'Hamilton' coming to Detroit and East Lansing

Broadway's hit musical "Hamilton" is coming to East Lansing and Detroit.

The show has just been announced for the 2018-2019 season at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing.

The musical is also coming to a theater in Detroit, which has not yet been announced.

Broadway in Detroit season ticket holders will have first access to tickets when they renew their subscription for the 2018-2019 season.

"Hamilton" earned a record 16 Tony Nominations and won 11 awards including Best Musical.

The musical is currently running in Chicago.
