DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village is returning in 2020 with some changes due to COVID-19.

The 80 acres of Greenfield Village will transform with bonfires, carolers, fiddlers and yuletide activity.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some changes have been made. That includes the elimination of ice-skating, indoor caroling, the outdoor caroling finale with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides and Model T rides.

The Supper with Santa dining package will return, but the Holiday Nights Dinner Package at Eagle Tavern and Holiday Nights Happy Hour have been canceled.

Main Street of Greenfield Village will be filled with holiday goods, food and drinks for people.

Also, the halls of historic homes will be decked out in festive inspiration, there will be live performances from carolers outdoors and cooking demonstrations in historic kitchens.

The popular event will happen Dec. 4-6, 11-13, 15-23 and 26-28. Tickets go on sale for members Wednesday, Oct. 21 with guest tickets on sale Nov. 4.
