University of Michigan Police have reported a home invasion near the university.
It happened on the 200 block of Packard Avenue, west of Central Campus, around 3:30 pm today.
Police say an unidentified man broke into an apartment house and stole money. He left after the residents confronted him.
Police say the suspect is an African American male, about 250 lbs. He's between 40 and 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue and white polo shirt, shorts and a baseball cap.
