Neighbors in Grosse Pointe Farms are on high alert after reported home invasions in the area.
A home invasion and an attempted home invasion took place Thursday night, according to Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety.
The first incident happened on the 250 block of Hillcrest around 11:00 p.m. when an unknown suspect attempted to enter a residence in the back of the home.
The second case took place in the early morning hours on the 350 block of Chalfonte Avenue where a suspect broke a window in the rear of the house to gain entry. Property was taken from the home.
