Federal agents executed a search warrant at an alleged cockfighting ring Saturday afternoon in southwest Detroit.
We're told it happened at about 1 p.m. on Green Street, near Springwells Street and Vernor Highway.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released this statement to 7 Action News.
Today, special agents and officers as part of a multiagency enforcement effort led by Homeland Security Investigations are executing a federal search warrant in an ongoing criminal investigation. Efforts began at approximately 1 p.m. today.
