As Amazon customers gear up for Prime Day, the company is announcing a new way to save.
The company recently revealed the trick that could score you even greater discounts: Alexa.
We’re talking special bargains, early access to Prime Day deals and promo codes.
According to a news release, Alexa now has more than 100 exclusive deals available for voice shoppers. The promotion started on Wednesday and runs through July 17.
You simply have to ask, "Alexa, what are your deals?"
Hear something you like? Tell Alexa to order it for you. Apparently the deals will rotate, so customers are encouraged to ask frequently.
Amazon says anyone who orders a deal with Alexa for the first time between now and July 9 will get a $10 promo code.
What's more, voice shoppers will also reportedly gain early access to the coveted Prime Day deals two hours before everyone else, starting on July 10.
And if you've been debating whether to get a Prime membership, now could be a good time. Amazon is offering a discount for those who use Alexa to sign up.
"Alexa, sign me up for Prime" will get you a year membership for $79 as opposed to the normal $99, according to the company.
Prime Day is officially July 11 this year with deals starting on July 10.
