LASALLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Human remains were found in a drainage ditch in LaSalle Township, the Monroe County Sheriff's office said.
On Sunday, deputies were dispatched to an open field located on the south side of W. Stein Road, West of Strasburg Road. Authorities say a worker performing maintenance in the field located the remains of an unknown human.
The remains were removed and transported to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy and identification of gender.
