Highland Park police say they are investigating a Tuesday morning accident involving a DDOT bus and a pickup truck.
We're told the crash happened at the intersection of Woodward and Manchester around 5:45 a.m.
Police say the driver of the truck disregarded a red light and slammed into the bus.
We're told the bus driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
Police believe alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
No roads are completely blocked, but police are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
