Instagram rolls out feature that lets users save posts to private tab

If you see it on Instagram and love it, now you can save it!

Instagram introduced a new "saved posts" feature on its official blog.

Now, when you find a post you love, you can save it to a special tab on your account.  Users will just have to tap on a little bookmark icon on the bottom right of the post.

Instagram says the saved posts go to a private tab on your profile. It's a tab only you can see.

Think of this as a Pinterest-type upgrade. I'm looking at it as more of a shopping tool. If you love a pair of shoes you see on the social media platform, but can't afford them at the moment, you can save them for later.

Instagram says the saved posts feature will be available on the app's version 10.2 for iOS and Android.
