Today, people around the world are celebrating (or depending on local law, protesting for) the right for women to go topless in public.
Go Topless Day and its host organization, GoTopless.org, were founded in 2007, on the principle that women have the same constitutional right that men do to go bare-chested in public.
There are several locations in the United States and around the world holding celebrations on August 26 this year.
