(WXYZ) — Kelly Stafford, the wife of Detroit Lions Quarterback Matthew Stafford, provided a Day 14 post-op update on her Instagram page, saying that she's been off steroids for two days and "feels good to be off those meds."
The update was posted Thursday evening with a picture of Stafford in the gym.
In April, Kelly announced that she would be having surgery to remove a tumor. She had the surgery and was released on Easter Sunday.
Shortly after the surgery, Stafford was re-admitted to the hospital, citing how she couldn't "be the mom she wants to be" for her kids, and admitting she had no energy since her surgery.
Now, 14 days post-operation and taking things slowly, Stafford assured her fans that she's making progress.
