FRENCHTOWN TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — Officials are warning residents who purchased kerosene from a Citgo gas station at 2658 N. Dixie in Frenchtown Township, and neighboring areas, to not use it because it's tainted with gasoline.
The warning was posted to the Frenchtown Township Fire Department Facebook page Thursday afternoon.
The Kerosene that has been tainted with gasoline was sold between Dec. 16, 2019 and Jan. 9, 2020. Officials urge customers who bought the tainted kerosene to return it immediately for a refund and proper disposal. They add that no other Citgo gas station has sold tainted kerosene.
