It's National Apprenticeship Week.
To celebrate, a group of kids had the opportunity to explore the construction progress at the District Detroit.
Cyrill Weems, senior vice president of Plante Moran says, it was a good opportunity to show children what's available to them in the future.
President Obama started National Apprenticeship week last year, to celebrate people developing skills for success.
This year it ran from Nov. 14 to Nov. 20.
