STERLING HEIGHTS, MIch. (WXYZ) — Kroger will open a brand new store in Sterling Heights on Jan. 15.
The 129,145 square-foot store is located at 18 Mile Road and will open for business at 8 a.m. for its grand opening. The first 600 customers will be given a $10 Kroger gift card and a free reusable shopping bag. There will be food samples and grand opening specials.
The store, a $35 million investment, will feature grocery items and non-food items, like clothing, shoes, toys and home goods. There will also be an in-store Starbucks and hot food selection.
“We can’t wait to welcome the community into our brand new store,” said James Faircloth, Sterling Heights Kroger Marketplace store manager. “We feel this will be such a great asset for our Sterling Heights neighbors and that busy shoppers will thoroughly enjoy the convenience of having so many great food, gift and seasonal items all in one location.”
Store hours are 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
