A Lake Orion man has been arrested and charged for production of child pornography, distribution and receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography, according to an affidavit filed in federal court on Wednesday.
According to the affidavit, special agents searched Michael David Pierce's home on Wednesday after learning he was using SKYPE to send video files to another person "discussing their sexual interest in children."
Those conversations, which were graphic in nature, included Pierce talking about sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl.
When agents searched Pierce's home, they also encountered Pierce and interviewed him.
According to the affidavit, Pierce said he had been sexually assaulting a girl, who is now 8, for the last two or three years, as well as producing child pornography with the girl.
He also admitted to sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy and producing child porn with the boy at least five different times. The affidavit states he also admitted to filming another girl, about 8 years old, while she and the other girl were nude together.
During the interview, Pierce said he is "not going to get better," and said he didn't know whether or not he would continue to molest children if law enforcement didn't stop him.
When agents examined Pierce's computer, they found numerous images of small children engaging in sexual acts, as well as photos and videos of different victims and Pierce together.
