Ever felt so angry that you just wanted to smash something?

The Destruction Depot, a new "rage room" in Brighton allows people to release their rage and anger by breaking things.

People can break things like flowerpots, figurines and even giant televisions to let out all of their emotions on.

There are two freeform rooms where patrons can smash whatever objects they desire.

“It’s fun to break stuff,” said Matt Crawford of Destruction Depot. “I’m not an anger therapist. This is a much healthier outlet than pretty much anything else you can do.”

You can rent a room starting at $20 bucks.  Bring your own items to break or buy anything from plates to TVs.

“The boss at your job. It could be everyday road rage. Wedding photos, any mementos you have from your relationship that went sour.”

Matt used to be in the Army and found this was a good way to just let it all out.

“I used to smash stuff with my buddies all the time. It was part of our job,” he said.

Destruction Depot is only open Fridays through Sundays, that way he can keep his IT job.

“I have a lot of frustrations towards computers.”

There are several weapons to chose from, just don’t forget the safety gear.

“Doesn’t have to be this big cathartic experience. You can absolutely have that. Other end of the spectrum, just come and have fun.”

The rage room is located at Grand River Avenue.
