If you want to snag those Black Friday deals, it's time to perfect your shopping strategy.
Ahead of the madness, here's a look at when the doors to some of your favorite stores open.
Handbags, and kitchen appliances and gift sets, oh my. If Macy's' is a must stop on your shopping list, you might have to leave your family before the pumpkin pie is served.
Macy's is set to open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving and shoppers have until 2 a.m. before the doors close. The department store then reopens on Black Friday at 6 a.m.
Keep in mind, there are some locations -- like the Macy's at Lakeside Mall -- that will be open through the night into Black Friday.
Now, if gadgets are more your style, Best Buy is also kicking off the shopping excitement at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
The doors stay open until 1 am, and then reopen at 8 am on Black Friday with a 10 p.m. closing time.
For Meijer, there are special sales starting on Thanksgiving this year too.
The company is holding Thursday only, Friday only and Saturday only deals. Sales start at 6 a.m. all three days.

Kohls: Doors open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Of course, these times are what the companies are advertising, but hours can vary by store. So be sure to check your go-to location.
