DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Great Lakes Water Authority held a news conference at the Freud Pumping Station to discuss their preparations for this weekend's forecasted rain.
The news conference cames as the GLWA is facing questions over the performance of their pumping stations during the June rainstorms that caused massive flooding in parts of metro Detroit.
The organization says this news conference is part of their "continued effort to offer transparency to southeast Michigan."
