More than two dozen American Red Cross volunteers from Michigan are going to help people deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

Over 30 volunteers are headed to the southeast with supplies.

They will lend a hand in Florida and other states hard hit by the storm.

According to the National Weather Service, Hurricane Matthew is now a category 3 storm.

Many of the volunteers are driving to the area because flights there have been cancelled.
