With the race for the White House in the home stretch, the candidates are tearing up the campaign trail to boost voter turnout on Election Day. On Sunday, October 30th, Hillary Clinton's running mate will visit Metro Detroit to help get out the vote in the battleground state of Michigan.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine is scheduled to campaign in Taylor and Warren to help get out the vote ahead of the November 8th election. According to the Clinton campaign, he'll be discussing their plan to create an economy that works for everyone.

The Virginia senator will first appear at the 'Get Out the Vote" event in Taylor. It will be held at the City of Taylor Fire Department on 23345 Goddard Road. The event begins at 4:00pm, and the doors open at 2:15pm.

Later, Sen. Kaine will address a crowd at the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights at 23401 Mound Road in Warren. That event begins at 6:00pm, but due to space constraints, it is not open to the public.
