A heartbreaking moment was caught on camera when a dog saw her former owners show up at the pound.
Two-year-old Zuzu was brought to the animal shelter in Downey, California after she jumped her fence and was picked up nearby as a stray.
When her old family showed up there, she lit up wagging her tail.
But when the shelter offered to let them claim her, they said they were there to adopt a new dog.
Since the video went viral the shelter says Zuzu will be taken in by a rescue group who will find her a home.
