(WXYZ) — A salt truck working on northbound M-10 struck an overpass Christmas morning, police say.
At approximately 3:20 a.m., the truck struck the Puritan overpass. Police say there is a large salt spill and hydraulic fluid leaking from the truck on the road that needs cleanup.
Police say the crash also caused damage to the Meyers/McNichols overpass exit sign and possible overpass damage. The Lodge freeway is currently closed at Wyoming for cleanup.
