Someone tried to sink Patrick Presutti's 31-foot boat, but the partially submerged vessel has now been recovered from Lake Huron as investigators look into the disappearance of the 60-year-old.
The boat was found about 86 miles away from the Bouvier Bay Marina in Macomb County where someone says they saw Presutti getting onto his boat alone on August 30.
On August 29, Presutti left his Macomb Township home after an argument with his wife, according to investigators. She reported him missing on September 1st.
Presutti's boat was found abandoned on Labor Day.
We're told there is clear evidence that someone tried to sink the boat. At least six standard size life jackets were found in the cabin of the boat.
The boat was found about seven miles off the shore of Forestville in Sanilac County.
