(WXYZ) — Lulu Harwell, widow of legendary Tigers' announcer Ernie Harwell, has died, according to family attorney Gary Spicer.
Mrs. Harwell passed away Friday evening at a retirement living community in Novi, according to the Detroit News.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Lulu Harwell, wife of former Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell. Lulu will always be remembered for her passion for the Tigers.
