MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — All lanes of M-59 in Utica at Mound Road reopened early Tuesday morning in both directions after flooding in the area.
The westbound lanes of M-59 at Utica were also closed due to flooding.
The area saw increased flooding due to a flash flood warning that was issued for parts of Macomb and Oakland counties. The warning remained in effect until 11:30 p.m.
Sterling Heights and Utica police were redirecting traffic to detour on Mound Road.
