WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 50-year-old Washington Township man has been charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and filming an unclothed person without consent, according to a news release.
David George Slaughter was arraigned on the charges Tuesday in 42nd District Court. The investigation happened late last year after police became aware Slaughter was possessing child porn and filming an unclothed person. Further investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant and an arrest at his home.
Slaughter faces five counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of using a computer to commit a crime, one count of child sexually abusive material activity and two counts of capturing and distributing images of an unclothed person.
According to a release, he's being held on a $150,000 bond.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Michigan Attorney General's Office announced the arrest and arraignment on Wednesday.
