The “Queen of Pop” has a small suggestion for the king of Amazon: show the Motor City a little love.
Madonna tweeted to Jeff Bezos over the weekend urging him to invest in Detroit after he asked for suggestions on his next philanthropic efforts.

She followed up with another Tweet mentioning the Detroit Achievement Academy, Detroit's Downtown Boxing Gym and Detroit-based Empowerment Plan.
Madonna, who grew up in Rochester Hills, has deep ties to the region. She helped fund the Downtown Boxing Gym and even sent her daughter to the University of Michigan.
Her Tweet was Retweeted hundreds of times and liked more than 1,500 times.
Bezos, the Amazon CEO is worth $84.6 billion. Just last week, the company announced it was purchasing Whole Foods.
