A man is recovering at the hospital after he was abducted and shot in Detroit around 6:20 a.m., Detroit police say.
Police say the man was thrown into the trunk of his grey Chrysler 300C in the 10700 block of Santa Maria and driven to a location. The victim managed to pop the trunk and jump out before he was shot by one of his abductors.
The shooting happened in the area of 18020 Littlefield.
The three suspects then left the scene in his car, police say. We're told the men were wearing masks.
Police say the victim is expected to be OK.
No word yet on any arrests.
