The 27-year-old suspect accused in the murder of Chelsea Bruck is expected to be arraigned today in Monroe County at 1:30 p.m.
Sources tell 7 Action News he's expected to be charged with second degree murder.
Friends and family of 22-year-old Bruck are thankful for the tireless efforts of police and the sheriff's department for all of their hard work.
Monroe County Sheriff Dale Malone is confident they have the right man in custody. The suspect provided details and clues about her murder that Malone told action news, "only a killer would know."
Action news learned this morning the suspect even had some of Bruck's items in his home.
Bruck's best friend Becky Aguilar says she can't believe he lived just around the corner from a huge poster for Chelsea.
Over the weekend, the suspect's girlfriend says he called her and told her Bruck died during rough sex and he "just freaked out."
One of Bruck's family members posted a statement on a Facebook group dedicated to the 22-year-old. It reads in part:
"This group was created to assist in the search for Chelsea Bruck. Now that we have the answers we are seeking, we have decided to close the group. Moving forward all we ask is for our privacy and, of course, your continued prayers."
