(WXYZ) — The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said a man was arrested after biting a deputy outside of a bar in Orion Township.
According to police, they were called to Johnny Black's Public House just after 2 a.m., and while talking to employees, another person began harassing deputies.
Those deputies told the 25-year-old man to step away while they investigated, but he allegedly continued to approach them.
That's when deputies tried to escort the man away, but the sheriff's office said he pushed the deputy and came at him.
According to the sheriff's office, the deputy took control of the man and tried to handcuff him, but the man bit the deputy on the right forearm, drawing blood.
Eventually, the man was taken into custody pending charges.
