A 19-year-old man appeared at a hearing on an assault with intent to murder charge in connection with a Dec. 15 knife attack on a woman in Grosse Pointe Park.
Darian Winfield of Detroit was in Grosse Pointe Park Municipal Court today.
Winfield also is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court on assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct and home invasion charges in connection with a Dec. 30 attack on a woman in her Detroit home.
A judge last week ordered Winfield to stand trial in that case.
