Man arraigned after Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard caught him impersonating a cop

(WXYZ) — The man caught by Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard Thursday impersonating a police officer was arraigned Saturday.

On Feb. 8., 23-year-old Adrian Ansah-Asante, of Waterford, was arraigned at the Oakland County Jail. His bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety bond no 10 percent. Bond included GPS tether prior to release, according to the court.

He faced charges of carrying a concealed weapon and use/possession of flashing lights - 90-day misdemeanor.

Ansah-Asante was advised not to operate a motor vehicle equipped with emergency lights or to be in possession of firearms or other dangerous weapons.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the vehicle Ansah-Asante used has since been impounded.
