MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — A man is facing charges after racial slurs were spray painted onto a building in Madison Heights.
Police say a business, Octapharma Plasma, located at 13 Mile Road, had racial slurs and references to the KKK.
A person of interest was developed when a patrol officer saw a man wearing the same unique sweatshirt the suspect was wearing at the time of the incident.
Marc Stephen Porzondek, 43, was arrested on Jan. 23. He was charged with one misdemeanor count of Malicious Destruction of Property and one felony count of Ethnic Intimidation.
He was arraigned on Jan. 25 and was given a $3,000 personal bond.
