Ferndale police say they have arrested a 35-year-old man for pulling out a handgun to threaten teen girls after a minor traffic accident on March 26.
Jeffrey Peterson pointed his pistol at two 17-year-olds after his vehicle was "lightly" struck by their car on Woodward near 8 Mile, according to police.
Police say the teens were scared and tried to flee, hitting a parked car in the process. During the pursuit, Peterson called 911 to report a hit-and-run--and eventually cornered their vehicle on 8 Mile where he again allegedly pointed his gun at the teens.
Peterson-- who does have a Concealed Pistol License-- was arrested on the scene for felonious assault.
He was arraigned on the charges Monday.
