The owner of a Citgo gas station says his business was targeted Sunday morning when a man with a brick broke through the glass door.
“It’s just not right, you know it’s not right at all,” said the owner Seth Kasyouhanan.
The robbery happened around 4:00 a.m. off Little Mack Avenue. Once the thief made his way inside, he took a thousand dollars in cigarette cartons.
“We are very honest people you know we work hard we do good and someone decides to do this to us it’s just not right you know?” said Kasyouhanan.
It cost Kasyouhanan $300 to fix the door.
Kasyouhanan says police looked at homes in the area to see if there were any bricks out of place, but came up empty. He’s hoping his surveillance video will point police in the right direction.
“Hopefully he never does it again, hopefully they catch him,” Kasyouhanan.
If you know the man who did this, call St. Clair Shores Police Department at (586) 445-5300.
