ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A man is facing charges after allegedly walking around with a rifle without a CPL inside a Kroger store in Royal Oak Township.
Police say troopers were dispatched to the Kroger on Oct. 18 for a man walking around with a rifle. Troopers contacted the man, identified as 40-year-old Touri Goodwin, while he was inside his vehicle and say there was a short barreled rifle slung over his neck.
When asked if he had any other firearms, Goodwin allegedly stated he had a pistol under his jacket on his left hip.
Police say Goodwin did not have a CPL; both of the fully loaded firearms were seized and Goodwin was arrested.
He has been charged with:
