Charles Samuel Stewart, 33, of Southfield is facing charges for allegedly stealing money from a Total Armored Car truck.
Stewart, who was an employee of the company, took a bag full of $20,000 to his work truck, and then to his personal vehicle.
Employees immediately called police to the scene.
Stewart is facing embezzlement and larceny charges. He is expected to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m.
